  • 1918-  Bjorn Wiinblad was born in Copenhagen Denmark.
  • He studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in Copenhagen.
  • 1946-  He started at Nymolle Faiencefabrik Denmark (closed in the 1990's). He was also owner of Knabstrup Pottery.
  • 1952-  Started his own studio.
  • 1956-  Started to design for Rosenthal Studio Linie in Germany.
  • 2006-  Wiinblad died in June.
  • 2010-  The production stopped on Wiinblads Studio.
  • Bjørn Wiinblad worked with: ceramics, glass, silver,  textiles, furniture, book illustrations, and more.
  • Wiinblad was one of the most popular Danish designers, and his products is known worldwide.
